Erasmus Policy Statement (Overall Strategy)

The strategy of our institution is to implement, to develop and to maintain international relationships with other European
union institutions, currently we are in the first level. So far, in relation to our international experience, we are in contact with
a French school and another Germany . In addition, some of our students have done their trainingship abroad, in the
context of national educational programs. At present we would like to increase the number of students and staff who take
part in these programs.
The target staff is the one working for Health and Nutrition studies in this school, such as teachers, administration staff.
Students target groups belong to this two same courses. The choice of institutions and schools will be made taking into
consideration the equivalent educational offer. In addition to the mobility of staff and students, we are particularly interested
in carrying on trainingships in companies. In this sense, we currently maintain very good relationships with major
companies of health and of nutrition and dietetics, which give us an added value as potential partners, as we are in a
position to reach agreements with companies in our geographic area.
The geographic area selected in this initial phase of implementation of our international strategy is the European Union, an
area that we hope to expand later. Our first objetives are France and England, as our institution is bilingual in French and
English. We are also interested in establishing links with Germany because of its industry and technology. We also
consider other countries such as Switzerland, Ireland, Sweden and Denmark.
In order to define our objectives, we start from the needs we have detected, they are the following:
1. Our educational center have lack of internalisation and ignarance of the European profile and the opportunities that the
european jobs market offers.
2. We need identification of options on how to better the employability our students and we need to implement a range of
policies have been applied to stimulate and encourage young to enter the labour market.
3. We´ve lack of experience in the dual system of vocational training and I think that it might be interesting.
4. We need to create networking of expertise and expecience-sharing.
5. To need are real measures to increase employability and ensure that the younger members of the workforce, persons
with disabilities and the long-term employed are better qualified.
Students necessarily involves knowing other languages and working in other countries, which will improve their
professionalskills.
- We not only study The Social Policy of the European Union but also prepare our students to work towards a true Social
Convergence, as it is set out in the ”Communication from Commission to the European Parliament , the Council , the
European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions”
There are many possibilities of obtaining employment in the sanitary sector in countries partners as France, Germany and
England that qualified professionals of the sector need.
Based on this fact, with mobility activities we wish to:
